Sylvie L. F. Richards is the founder of the Law Office of Sylvie Richards, PLLC. She established the boutique law practice to focus on personalized legal services that benefit the everyday life of her clients and their families. Sylvie is admitted to practice law in New York in both state and federal courts. She is active in the legal profession as a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association where she is a member of the Trusts and Estates Law and the Elder Law sections, and the New York County Lawyers Association.

In addition to her law degree from New York Law School, Sylvie Richards holds a Ph.D. in French and Romance Philology from Columbia University. She is an internationally recognized teacher, scholar and writer. She has also been a featured speaker at conferences in Europe, Asia, and Central America.

Sylvie regularly offers community seminars on estate planning, and also teaches Continuing Legal Education classes for the Marino Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
